Every environment artist knows that roads are the backbone of a good simulation. I designed this modular roundabout system to replace generic assets with something that feels authentic to Romanian roads.
The focus was on flexibility and performance. I created several texture variants for the curbs from clean white to the classic red and white safety markings allowing for quick environment variations. I spent extra time baking the Ambient Occlusion in Blender to ensure the concrete feels heavy and properly grounded once imported into the game engine.
It's a low-poly, game-ready set that proves even the most basic infrastructure can look great with the right texture work and optimization.
