This project represents the complete, fully modular asset kit of a modern Rompetrol gas station, designed and optimized from scratch for RoMapProject. Moving beyond individual props, I developed a full environment pipeline, focusing on strict modularity, high performance, and authentic environmental storytelling.
The entire station is composed of three main independent kits modeled in Blender and textured using Gimp: the main shop building (featuring detailed "Hei" branding), the structural overhead canopy rig, and the high-fidelity modular fuel dispensers.
Key Technical Highlights:
Fully Modular Pipeline: All components—shop sections, canopy trusses, and pumps—are designed as independent, instancable assets for flexible placement in the map editor.
Advanced Lighting Rig: Implemented dynamic day/night cycle support. The canopy features customized downward light distribution, and the shop uses tailored emissive maps and interior mapping to look alive during night routes.
Realistic Weathering & PBR: Focused on achieving realistic material properties, blending the clean corporate look with subtle, organic weathering (concrete staining, metal oxidation) where needed.
Engine Optimization: Clean topology, efficient UV packing, and custom baked Ambient Occlusion guarantee stable performance in Euro Truck Simulator 2.
